On Thursday morning, the $349 billion emergency small business lending program formally tapped out. The Small Business Association formally ran out of money for the Paycheck Protection Program, in accordance with a message for lenders posted on the administration’s web site.
Negotiations on Capitol Hill have but to generate a path ahead to replenish the money, all because the US economic system continues to stagger beneath the stress of near-nationwide closures.
